ACO Stratford-Perth County Donates to Gallery Stratford

On Saturday, August 20,2020 ACO Stratford-Perth County president, Allan Tye, presented a cheque to Angela Brayham, director/curator of Gallery Stratford. He was joined by Jayne Trachsel, vice president of the Stratford & District Historical Society with a donation from the historical society. Both donations were towards the feasibility study for repairs to the gallery. The gallery was the original pump house for Stratford Waterworks and was built in 1883. It was designed by architect George F. Durand. Durand was also responsible for designing the Perth County Courthouse, jail and Avon Crest, Stratford's first hospital.
